The success of this type of consignment sale requires the assistance of volunteers.  As we recognize that the time spent away from your loved ones and other obligations is valuable, we believe you should be “compensated.”  Therefore, volunteer and earn between 5-10% more of your overall sale price.

Volunteer for 2 four (4) hour shifts and receive 10% more of your sale price and one pass to shop during the exclusive pre-sale event.  Volunteer for 1 four (4) hour shift and receive 5% more of your sale price and one pass to shop during the second hour of the pre-sale event.

Each volunteer and/or consignor is given one pre-sale shopping pass.  Spouses, friends, and other family members may not shop early with you if they do not have a shopping pass.  If you would like to have a “shopping buddy,” encourage your spouse, friends and/or family members to volunteer.  Volunteers who do not consign still can earn a pass to the pre-sale event.  Sign up to volunteer at the time you register.

 NOTE:

 1.       By working a shift with an asterisk (*), you will receive a bonus hour which will be counted as one of your 4 or 8 volunteer hours. 

2.         The following shifts involve setting up and breaking down racks and tables plus loading or unloading of the truck: Wednesday 1-5, 2-6 and 3-7; Saturday 12-4, and 3-6.  As an added bonus, if you work one of these shifts, you will be able to participate in the Volunteer 5 Minute Grocery Grab Bag.  The 5 Minute Grocery Grab Bag is where you will be permitted to grab as many unsold items as you can fit into grocery bag.  There is no additional fee; and you will keep all items you have accumulated at the end of the 5 mintes.  This event takes place after all consignors or their designee have retrieved their unsold items.  Participation in the 5 Minute Grocery Grab Bag is not a mandatory condition of volunteering during these designated shifts.
